Making an impact as a business leader goes beyond HR and extends to the business as a whole. We cover the ways HR can make an impact (both good and bad) , show you how to increase your visibility as a decision maker within your organisation and learn to take a more proactive approach to where you spend your time and effort for the greatest impact.

Commerciality

You'll learn how to get under the hood of your organisation from different angles, to truly understand what it is trying to achieve and how. How do you change your conversations so that you're more focused on the business as a whole and not just HR? Uncover the gaps in your knowledge around the numbers and some finance essentials and learn to take a broader business outlook.

 

Empowerment

Discover the personal obstacles holding you back and develop tools and techniques to overcome them; whether it be confidence, self belief, resilience, imposter syndrome or a bit of each. About Kirsty Baggs-Morgan

I created S.P.I.C.E. to address the gaps and obstacles I faced in my own HR career and that I also witnessed in other HR professionals through my coaching and other work. I'm pretty uniquely placed to deliver this programme, because I have worked extensively on both sides of the table.

After a successful 25 year career in international HR leadership roles plus a few years of HR Consultancy and Executive Coaching, I currently perform a number of roles which have added invaluable and unique knowledge and expertise to my HR background:

 

* I work as a Strategy Coach & Consultant to HR professionals, business leaders and business owners

* I conduct management due diligence projects on behalf of private equity firms in which I interview and analyse leadership teams and business strategies and advise on the changes required for growth and scale

* I'm a Non-Executive Director for a tech startup

In all areas of my work, I combine my extensive HR and business knowledge to advise on strategy, leadership and strategic planning across multiple industries.

 

Since leaving in-house HR, I have devoted myself to supporting others in the HR profession through this S.P.I.C.E. programme, through my coaching and also through Evolving HR; a thriving platform and community for HR professionals and HR related business owners.

Outside of my work, I live in Southern Spain with my husband and our adopted Texan cat, who has now lived in four countries with us.
